GRAYN was hired by NMBL, a US-based creative agency, to produce video for a Nespresso campaign. The agency handled the edit; GRAYN's job was capturing footage clean and precise enough to build from. That meant a Laowa probe lens for movement inside the frame most cameras can't get close to, and an Edelkrone motorized slider to plan and repeat camera moves shot to shot. Slow motion sequences were captured on a Freefly Wave high-speed camera.

The shoot ran two days in GRAYN's Vancouver studio. Two Nespresso machines ran in parallel to keep the shoot moving, and the ice used throughout was Nespresso-branded, sourced specifically for the shoot rather than swapped in generically.

The cut on this page is GRAYN's own edit of the same footage, built separately from the raw clips delivered to NMBL for the actual campaign.
